Well, that was boring. Going host-less felt like a flop to me. I didn’t think it would make much of a difference as the host doesn’t appear much after the opening segment, but that’s often one of the best parts. It set the scene for the whole show that resulted in a bit of a yawn fest. Adam Lambert and Queen, Rami Malek’s speech, and of course Lady Gaga, and Bradley Cooper’s performance were notable highlights of the night.
If you missed the Grammys, I recommend watching the first 30 minutes to see the best parts. Alicia Keys was wonderful as the host; her passion for music shone as she spoke about the performers, and during her monologues. She brought great energy to the show. Lady Gaga, Jada Pinkett Smith, J.Lo and MICHELLE OBAMA were, hands down, the highlight of the whole show. Camila Cabello’s opening performance was amazing and I especially loved Ricky Martin’s appearance.
