Award Season is upon us! Every year I compile my own best/worst dressed list but until now haven’t had anywhere to share it. So I’m very excited that I can finally put my two cents in for this year’s best (and a couple of worst) dressed celebs at the People’s Choice Awards.
Taylor Swift in Ralph Lauren
Taylor looked ravishing in her plunging Ralph Lauren dress complimented with a pop of colour from her turquoise earrings. Tay doesn’t often step out of her comfort zone of white and sparkles but always hits the mark! Maybe come Grammy time she’ll be a bit more daring. I’m sure I’ll still love whatever she wears though.
Emma Watson in Peter Pilotto
This was perfect for her. It’s a fun award show where you can experiment with colours, styles, lengths and Emma did just that, and did it well.
Lea Michelle in Ellie Saab
Loves me an Ellie Saab dress – you can hardly ever go wrong. This dress is a great colour on Lea and compliments her figure perfectly. Although I did see her undies when she got up to accept her award for Favourite Comedic TV Actress.
Heidi Klum in Julien McDonald
Heidi, you can start aging any time now. I reckon by the time I get to her age, she will still look better than me. She looks smokin’ in this sexy black number. Obviously divorce hasn’t had much effect on her.
Julianne Hough in Tony Ward Couture
I have such a girl crush on her. She always seems to pull off both cute and sexy, which again she does in this knee length A-line dress. I’m excited to see what she wears this weekend at the Golden Globes.
What’s a best dressed list without a couple of worst dressed?
Jennifer Aniston in Dior
I hate to have to put her on this list because I love her so much! But come on Jenny, really?? The style, the colour, the leather, the hair (thought I’d throw that in there), it’s all wrong! I’m pretty sure I saw one of the goth girls from high school wear this at a school dance once. You have next weekend to redeem yourself so make it good!
Paris Hilton in Mary Katrantzou
As Penfifteen sang in their song for Paris “Ms. Hilton you must be worth a trillion bucks” – she sure didn’t look it last night. Let’s be honest though, does she ever get on a best dressed list? This dress is just ugly. That’s all I have to say.
Oh sorry, did you think you were seventeen and attending your high school prom? This is not age appropriate at all. She needs to learn how to pose properly, and while I’m ripping this look apart, the colour does nothing for her either.
That was fun! Stay tuned for my review next week of the Golden Globe’s Best Dressed.
